Job summary

Würth Elektronik eiSos is seeking a Field Applications Engineer for the United States (remote). You will translate customer requirements into practical electronic component solutions, support design-in projects, and strengthen long-term relationships through training and collaboration.

You will visit customer sites, support all design phases, and present technical trainings. A degree in EE/related field and strong English communication are required; travel 20–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Practical experience in application engineering or field applications.
• Strong understanding of electronic components and their applications.
• Excellent presentation and training skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region to visit customers and events.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to build strong relationships and provide hands-on support.
• Support customers through all design phases from selection to production.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, training, and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and international colleagues for coordinated support.
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Communications Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
