Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Boston is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (Analog & Power) to lead design engagements across New England and Eastern Canada, providing pre- and post-design support, schematic review, component selection, and issue resolution to drive design‑in to design‑win.

You will guide power architecture, perform design reviews, run hands‑on lab work, and train customers, with travel up to 10–20% and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering required; MS EE preferred.
• 3+ years in analog and power electronics with customer-facing experience.
• Strong knowledge of power architectures and system design.
• Experience with lab measurements, debugging and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer power architecture development, device selection and optimization.
• Perform design reviews, root-cause analysis and hands-on debugging.
• Drive product evaluations and competitive positioning for Renesas power portfolio.
• Execute hands-on lab work: board bring-up, measurement and validation.
• Align system power with processors and connectivity subsystems.
• Provide technical guidance to accelerate concept-to-production revenue.
• Develop trainings, seminars and enable internal enablement content.
