Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation in the Boston area seeks a Field Applications Engineer (Analog & Power) to lead power and analog design engagements for customers across New England and Eastern Canada, serving as the technical lead for architecture, device selection, and system optimization.

You will perform schematic reviews, bench validation, and hands-on lab work, deliver customer trainings and design workshops, and provide actionable field feedback to influence roadmaps while traveling up to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of analog and power electronics experience.
• Customer-facing or design role experience required.
• Based in or willing to relocate to New England (Boston area preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead customer power architecture development, including power tree design and device selection.
• Perform schematic reviews and root-cause analysis for analog/power issues.
• Drive product evaluations and competitive positioning for Renesas power/analog portfolio.
• Execute hands-on lab work: board bring-up, measurement, validation, and failure analysis.
• Provide technical guidance to customers to accelerate designs from concept to production.
• Develop and deliver customer trainings, seminars, and enablement content.
