Job summary

nVent is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to partner with customers, sales, and engineering to turn real-world challenges into practical Data Center solutions. The role emphasizes field understanding of systems integration and delivering meaningful outcomes for customers.

The position requires a strong Electrical/Mechanical background and fluency in English and Spanish, with remote work in the Central US and travel across the US and Latin America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering or equivalent work experience in Data Center infrastructure, design, and construction space.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical application's role supporting Data Center product solutions.
• Strong technical background in Power and Air and Liquid Cooling Solutions in the Data Center space.
• Understanding of Data Center Power and Cooling Architecture from UPS to rack/equipment level a plus.
• English and Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a domain authority for nVent Data Center Solutions products for the Central US and Latin America region.
• Provide first-line product support to customers and colleagues using nVent Data Solutions and Electrical Connections.
• Evaluate customer RFQs and build costing/quotes with technical and commercial content.
• Provide technical application assistance to identify modified and engineered products based on customer specifications.
• Prepare and submit quotations & proposals of non-standard products using internal CPQ and ERP systems.
• Lead product training for customers and distributors on quoting tools.
• Prepare compliance documents against customer specifications.
• Lead strategic projects for product improvements, cost reduction, and new product development.
• Review training literature for technical accuracy and update guides and procedures.
