Job summary

JSI is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to join the Network Operations team and help operate, maintain, and grow FTTx networks for rural ISP partners. The role offers either full remote work or a hybrid arrangement from a regional office, with responsibilities spanning reliability, improvements, and long‑term network roadmap development.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in network engineering or operations, strong OSI knowledge, and hands-on experience with Junos/IOS, VLAN, and network

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, networking, IT, or related field.
3+ years in network engineering or operations.
Experience managing external partner relationships.
Strong OSI model knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design, install, and maintain FTTx network infrastructure and devices.
Serve as primary technical contact for partner statements of work.
Monitor network health and coordinate improvements.
Lead cross-team coordination and project execution.
Provide after-hours support when needed.
