Job summary

Elliott Davis, LLC is seeking a FVLS Manager- FI Valuation in Charlotte, NC, or remote US. You’ll lead FI valuations, including CECL, MSR, and FHLB advances, while mentoring juniors and collaborating with audit teams.

Ideal candidates hold 5–7 years of FI valuation experience, a Top 20/Big 4 background, and CPA/ASA/CFA/ABV certification in progress. Strong ASC 805 expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of valuation experience with financial institutions.
• Experience at a Top 20 or Big 4 firm; comfortable with public company audit reviews.
• CPA, ASA, CFA, or ABV certification (completed or pursuing).
• Strong ASC 805 knowledge and bank/financial institution valuation modelling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution of FI valuations, including CECL, MSR, Core Deposit Intangibles, and FHLB advances.
• Serve as a technical specialist for PCAOB FI valuations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review third-party valuation reports and provide technical support to audit teams.
• Mentor and manage Seniors and Associates within the FI vertical.
• Act as primary contact for external bank clients undergoing acquisitions or regulatory reviews.
• Support senior leadership with business development and client expansion initiatives.
