Job summary

Elliott Davis in Greenville, SC seeks a FI Valuation Manager to lead complex valuation engagements for financial institutions, including M&A purchase accounting and PCAOB reviews. You will manage day-to-day client relationships, ensure technical accuracy, and support senior leadership in expanding our consulting footprint.

This role focuses on CECL, MSR, ASC 805 models, and supervision of Seniors and Associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 5–7 years of valuation experience with a focus on Financial Institutions.
• Experience at a Top 20 or Big 4 firm; comfortable with public company audits.
• CPA/ASA/CFA/ABV certification either completed or in progress.
• Strong ASC 805 technical background and banking/valuation models.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day FI-specific valuations including CECL, MSR, Core Deposit Intangibles, and FHLB advances.
• Serve as technical specialist for assurance work and PCAOB reviews for FI valuations.
• Review third-party reports and provide support to audit teams on financial assumptions and models.
• Mentor Seniors and Associates within the FI vertical.
• Act as main contact for external bank clients undergoing acquisitions or regulatory reviews.
