Job summary

Elliott Davis Advisory, LLC is seeking a FI Valuation Manager to lead complex valuation engagements within the Financial Institution vertical, focusing on banking and financial services.

You will manage day-to-day client relationships, ensure technical accuracy, and support senior leadership in expanding our consulting footprint across healthcare, life sciences, industrials, construction, and real estate sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics required.
• 5–7 years of valuation experience with financial institutions.
• Experience at a Top 20 or Big 4 accounting firm; comfortable with public company audit reviews.
• Certifications: CPA, ASA, CFA, or ABV (completed or pursuing).
• Strong technical background in ASC805 and bank reporting valuation models.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day FI-specific valuations including CECL, MSR, Core Deposit Intangibles, and FHLB advances.
• Serve as technical specialist for PCAOB FI client valuations; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review third-party valuation reports and support audit teams on assumptions and modeling.
• Mentor and manage Seniors and Associates within the FI vertical.
• Act as primary client contact for acquisitions or regulatory reviews; ensure timely delivery.
• Assist leadership with business development, proposals, and client relationships.
• Other duties as assigned within the practice scope.
