Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a finance professional to support the Fetal and Neonatal care service line.

This role combines finance, strategy and program management to partner with clinical, operational and physician leaders to advance specialized programs that improve outcomes for mothers and newborns. The successful candidate will own budgeting, financial reporting and cost management across the department, identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, and help translate

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business or related field.
• Preferred Master’s degree in Accounting/Business or related field.
• Experience with hospital or healthcare finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial reports, analysis and consultation for departmental financial management.
• Manages budgets for staffing, revenue and expenses.
• Oversees budgeting and cost-control processes for non-clinical and clinical areas as applicable.
• Collaborates with IS to identify computer hardware and software needs in support of the department.
• Works with IS to identify hardware and software needs.
