Job summary

DMI, a leading IT services provider, seeks a Software Engineer II for a federal regulatory submission platform. The mid-level engineer will analyze, design, develop, and implement software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet strict delivery standards.

The role involves Java development, RESTful APIs, and both unit and integration testing, with opportunities to contribute across lifecycle phases and releases. Remote work from the US is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on development experience in Java with modern JDK and enterprise frameworks.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience writing and executing unit/integration tests and tracking defects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement software solutions across new applications and modifications to existing platform components.
• Participate in all phases of the enterprise performance life cycle and produce lifecycle artifacts for each release.
• Perform software fixes and minor enhancements within the backlog.
• Develop and modify code across Java, REST APIs, and UI components of the platform.
• Execute unit and integration testing and remediate defects from test/production.
• Prepare release packages and support major, minor, and emergency releases with data-center and cloud teams.
• Collaborate with analysts, database specialists, and QA to ensure delivered software meets requirements.
