Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Software Application Engineer II for a remote-based role with nationwide location flexibility. You will build REST APIs and modern web applications, collaborating with clients to capture detailed requirements and craft user-focused experiences.

Responsibilities include SDLC execution, production support, and contributing to design, testing, and documentation. This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and delivering high-quality healthcare software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Full Stack Development in .NET, EF Core ORM, C#, JS React.
• 2+ years with MS SQL Server and stored procedures.
• 2+ years configuring REST API services and DVCS (Git/Bitbucket).
• 2+ years working with healthcare tech (HL7, FIHR, EDI).
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Familiar with OAuth frameworks and secure coding practices.
• Experience in medical payor/provider app development is a plus.
• Strong client collaboration to translate requirements into UX.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST API backends for interactive websites using .NET.
• Prioritize tasks across the software development life cycle.
• Resolve production issues promptly and effectively.
• Design interactions between apps, databases, interfaces, and hardware.
• Code, debug, test, and integrate software solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and create design docs.
• Lead process improvements to standardize workflows and reduce risk.
• Support leadership with planning, analysis, and reporting.
