Job summary

SCC is seeking a detail-oriented Business Development & Proposal Specialist for our Training Division. This role focuses on identifying, pursuing, and responding to federal training and education contracts, handling the near-term proposal lifecycle from sourcing to submission.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of federal proposal writing or BD support experience, strong written communication, and proficiency with GSA eBuy and SAM.gov. Remote, nationwide, full-time with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–4 years of federal proposal writing or BD support experience.
• Ability to write persuasively and in compliance with solicitation requirements.
• Familiarity with GSA eBuy, SAM.gov, and RFQ/RFP/Sources Sought structures.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Source opportunities and maintain training division pipeline.
• Draft, edit, and format proposal responses per instructions and standards.
• Coordinate with government customers and BD team during pre-award phase.
• Manage timelines, reviews, and submission via required portals.
• Record customer interactions to support pipeline accuracy.
