Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Project Manager to lead multi-site implementation and rollout efforts for federal customers, owning planning, deployment, and go-live across sites and business units. This fully remote US position emphasizes cross-functional coordination, stakeholder engagement, and milestone tracking.

The role requires 5–8 years of PM experience, with proven ability to manage distributed teams, gather requirements, and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned to mission goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5–8 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-phase implementation projects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Experience working in government or contractor/vendor environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage phased rollouts across sites or business units from setup to go-live.
• Coordinate with site and business stakeholders to gather, validate, and finalize required configuration data.
• Track rollout schedules and dependencies to ensure timely deliverables across all waves.
• Validate systems through test scenarios and confirm readiness with local stakeholders.
• Communicate proactively across distributed, cross-organizational teams.
• Determine escalation paths for time-sensitive issues and drive resolution.
• Gather and prioritize requirements and translate them into a clear backlog and roadmap.
• Partner with engineering, design, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Use feedback and data to inform product decisions and iterate on features.
