Job summary

The Energy & Environment Cabinet (EEC) in Frankfort, KY, seeks a Federal Program Specialist (FFTL) to support accounting, contracting and compliance for federal infrastructure funds. This is a time-limited FFTL position under the Executive Branch with potential telecommuting and full-time benefits.

The role requires four years of grant-related experience and a bachelor's degree, plus knowledge of Davis Bacon/Buy America requirements. Travel within the Commonwealth is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Four years of professional experience in budget administration, grant administration, financial analysis and/or forecasting, statistical analysis, financial auditing, or a related field.
• Two years of the required experience must include the preparation, research and planning, budgeting, or administration of state or federal grants-in-aids.
• A master's degree will substitute for one year of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Review reporting documentation to ensure compliance with federal guidelines.
• Perform site visits and providing technical assistance with project specific guidelines.
• Assist contractors with necessary information and guidelines to ensure compliance with Davis Bacon/Buy America requirements.
