Job summary

Zekai is seeking a Federal Management & Program Analyst for a 100% remote contractor role. You will contribute subject-matter expertise to a customer-driven AI evaluation project focused on federal program management and policy analysis.

Work includes developing realistic federal scenarios, creating reference answers for AI training, and providing expert feedback to ensure alignment with actual agency practices. US-based knowledge and strong memo-writing skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in federal program, policy, or operational planning (e.g., OPM series GS-0343, GS-0301)
• Experience writing decision memos, program evaluations, briefings, or after-action reports for senior leaders
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail and clarity
• US-based contributor with knowledge of federal government processes

Responsibilities

• Develop realistic federal management, program, and policy scenarios reflecting authentic agency workflows
• Create clear, accurate reference answers and documentation for AI training
• Review, evaluate, and provide expert feedback on scenarios and deliverables produced by other contributors
• Validate that project materials align with actual federal planning, evaluation, and reporting practices
• Leverage background in policy analysis, decision memo writing, and preparation of executive briefings or after-action reports
• Collaborate asynchronously and communicate effectively to ensure clarity and consistency in project deliverables
