micro1 is seeking a Federal IT Specialist contractor to work remotely on federal IT operations and AI training. You will review and improve AI outputs in security, governance, and documentation, focusing on GS-2210 activities and incident response.

You will diagnose hardware and network issues, refine technical guidance, and help ensure privacy and compliance in federal contexts. Strong hands-on experience with hardware repair and information security is required.

• Demonstrated experience in federal IT roles (GS-2210 or equivalent).
• Strong background in hardware repair, network administration, and incident response.

• Review AI-generated content related to federal IT processes, including ATO packages, IT investment business cases, incident reports, and privacy impact assessments.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application incidents generated by AI in federal environments.
• Contribute guidance and training resources for AI model development with a focus on federal IT contexts.
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated technical documentation, system configurations, and security controls.
• Support incident response simulations and use-case evaluations to improve AI model security incident detection.
