Commence is seeking an Information Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security assessment, authorization, and continuous-monitoring for federal programs. You will own RMF processes, author SSPs, coordinate with agency officials, and guide cross-functional teams to meet CMS, VA, DoD, IRS, and DHS requirements.

This is a remote role with 15–25% travel from a Virginia Beach HQ base. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in information assurance or cybersecurity, including 3+ years as an ISSO or A&A lead, and

• 5+ years of information assurance or cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years as an ISSO or A&A lead for federal information systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the designated ISSO for assigned federal systems and liaison to agency ISSOs and assessors.
• Coordinate project plans to embed security milestones and ensure timely delivery of federal deliverables.
• Manage RMF lifecycle, author and maintain SSPs, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
