Lynch Consultants LLC is seeking a detail-oriented federal financial operations analyst to support DoD programs. This fully remote role allows occasional on-site work at Ft.

Belvoir, and requires a BA/BS, 3+ years federal experience, and an active Secret clearance. You will record obligations, process invoices, reconcile payments, and help ensure accurate financial reporting while coordinating with government accounting staff.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 3+ years of federal experience required.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Strong knowledge of DoD financial operations required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint required.

Responsabilités

• Record and maintain financial obligations, invoices, reconciliations, and payment data in accounting systems.
• Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, proper certification, and timely payment.
• Maintain contract payment files, resolve discrepancies, and research payment or disbursement issues.
• Analyze aged obligations along with accounts payable and receivable balances to support financial oversight.
• Assist with customer order entry, provide financial information to internal and external stakeholders, and support audits.
• Prepare and update standard operating procedures, internal controls, and coordinate with government accounting and contracting staff.
