Job summary

Lynch Consultants, LLC is seeking a Financial Analyst to support a government agency with a focus on DoD financial management. Fully remote with occasional on-site needs at Ft. Belvoir. Candidates must hold a BA/BS, have 3+ years of federal experience, an active Secret clearance, be a U.S.

citizen, and understand DoD financial operations. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is required. Duties include recording obligations, processing invoices, maintaining payment files, analyzing

Qualifications

Must have BA/BS degree.
3+ years Federal experience.
ACTIVE Secret Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship.
Strong understanding of DoD financial operations.
Intermediate knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Record and maintain financial obligations, invoices, reconciliations, and payment data in accounting systems.
Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, proper certification, and timely payment.
Maintain contract payment files, resolve discrepancies, and research payment or disbursement issues.
Analyze aged obligations along with accounts payable and receivable balances to support financial oversight.
Assist with customer order entry, provide financial information to internal and external stakeholders, and support audits.
Prepare and update standard operating procedures, internal controls, and coordinate with government accounting and contracting staff.
