Lynch Consultants (LC) is seeking a Financial Analyst to support DoD financial operations from a fully remote role, with on-site availability at Ft. Belvoir if needed. The position involves recording obligations, invoices, and aiding audits.

Requires BA/BS, 3+ years federal experience, Active Secret Clearance, U.S. citizenship, and strong Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint skills. Salary is around $63,000 per year with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Strong understanding of DOD financial operations.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsabilités

• Record and maintain financial obligations, invoices, reconciliations, and payment data in accounting systems.
• Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, proper certification, and timely payment.
• Maintain contract payment files, resolve discrepancies, and research payment or disbursement issues.
• Analyze aged obligations along with accounts payable and receivable balances to support financial oversight.
• Assist with customer order entry, provide financial information to internal and external stakeholders, and support audits.
• Prepare and update standard operating procedures, internal controls, and coordinate with government accounting and contracting staff.
