Job summary

Synergy is seeking a strategic Contracts Manager to lead our contracts management function. The role oversees development, negotiation, and administration of contracts with federal and state agencies, partners, primes, and subs.

Candidates should have extensive federal contracting experience and strong leadership with a deep compliance background. This senior position also drives the purchasing system development, policies, and internal controls aligned with FAR/DFARS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in contract management, with at least 5 years in leadership within federal contracting.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contracts management strategies aligned with company goals.
• Manage full contract lifecycle with proposals, negotiations, execution, and closeout for government contracts.
• Negotiate teaming and subcontracting agreements with partners; ensure proper flowdowns.
• Lead development and implementation of a purchasing system meeting FAR/DFARS requirements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FAR/DFARS and related gov contracting rules.
• Identify and mitigate contract risks; conduct regular performance reviews.
