Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of contract management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within federal contracting.
• In‑depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal contracting regulations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement contracts management strategies aligned with the company’s goals and growth.
• Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee proposal support, negotiation, execution, modifications, compliance and closeout of government contracts.
• Teaming and Subcontracting: Negotiate teaming and subcontracting agreements with partners and ensure proper flowdowns.
• Purchasing System Development: Lead development and implementation of the purchasing system; establish policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS and other government contracting requirements and stay updated on changes.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks in contractual agreements and conduct regular contract performance reviews.
• Contract Funding and Obligations: Monitor funding, ceilings, performance periods and option dates; prepare notices as needed.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with Finance, Operations, BD, Account Management and Legal teams.
