Synergy is seeking a strategic Contracts Manager to lead our contracts management function for federal and state engagements. You will develop, negotiate, and administer contracts with government agencies, teaming partners, prime contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance and risk management.

The role leads the purchasing system development, including procurement policies, internal controls, and CPSR readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 10 years of contract management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within federal contracting.
• In-depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal contracting regulations; lifecycle management in government contracting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement contracts management strategies aligned with company goals.
• Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee proposals, negotiation, execution, modifications, compliance, and closeout of government contracts.
• Teaming and Subcontracting: Negotiate teaming/subcontracting agreements with partners and ensure proper flowdowns.
• Purchasing System Development: Lead policies, procedures, controls, and tools for procurement and subcontracting.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS and related requirements; monitor regulatory changes.
• Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in contractual agreements.
• Contract Funding: Monitor funding, ceilings, and performance periods; prepare notices as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Finance, Operations, BD, Account Management, and Legal.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with COs/KOs, CORs, program managers, and partners.
• Reporting and Analysis: Present contract performance, compliance, and risk insights to leadership.
