Job summary

US Federal Solutions in Washington, DC seeks a Mid-Level Contract Specialist / Administrator II to support the Federal Transit Administration. The role covers pre-award through closeout phases, preparing procurement materials and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

The successful candidate will work with government personnel to analyze procurement needs, develop strategies, and maintain accurate status information for multiple actions. Remote work is primarily offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of contracting or acquisition experience.
• 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, or related fields plus 5 years of experience.
• Mid-level federal Contract Specialist or Administrator responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Experience with multiple contract types (FFP, Cost-Reimbursable, Labor Hour, Time and Materials).
• Experience with acquisitions vehicles such as IDIQ, BPAs, task orders, and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide mid-level federal acquisition support across procurement lifecycle.
• Prepare/edit Requests for Proposals, Quotes, and related documents.
• Review SOWs/Statements of Objectives for acquisition readiness.
• Maintain workload tracking and timely status updates for actions.
• Support contract modifications and closeout activities as needed.
