Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Contract Program Manager for a fully remote role based in the United States. The position focuses on day-to-day management and delivery of assigned contracts, serving as the primary point of accountability for contract performance and ensuring all requirements, milestones, and customer expectations are fulfilled.

The compensation starts at $185,000 to $195,000 DOE, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of federal consulting, transformation, acquisition, program leadership, data, process, governance, change, or related experience.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage executive stakeholders.
• Strong written and oral communication, negotiation, and decision‑support skills.
• Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary manager responsible for delivery and performance of the assigned contracts.
• Maintain accountability for all contract deliverables, schedules, milestones, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate contract staff, subcontractors, and other personnel to ensure proper execution.
• Interface with Government/customers regarding contract execution and issues.
• Provide regular contract-level performance updates to the Managing Director.
• Support contract modifications and changing customer priorities.
