Job summary

LMI is seeking a Technical Product Owner to take Cadence from pilot into a scalable federal product. You will own the full lifecycle: vision, architecture, deployment, pricing, ROI, and demos, interfacing with federal program managers and delivery teams.

You will lead a small technical team within Sales Engineering, translate customer needs into epics and requirements, and drive a repeatable product roadmap across DoD and civilian agencies, including integrations with Microsoft 365/Power

• Experience delivering software products from discovery through growth.
• Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
• Strong user empathy for government program managers.
• Experience leading agile technical teams and managing roadmaps.
• Commercial instincts: pricing, ROI, and demos.
• Ability to operate autonomously in early-stage product environments.

Responsibilities

• Own Cadence’s transition from pilot to market-ready federal product.
• Lead a small technical team within Sales Engineering.
• Translate customer needs into epics, user stories, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
• Spend time with federal program managers to understand current management approaches.
• Identify reusable capabilities and scalable roadmap.
• Define Cadence’s technical architecture and integration strategy.
• Shape deployment strategy including FedRAMP and RMF/ATO.
• Build the commercial case including pricing, ROI and packaging.
• Lead Cadence demos and discovery sessions with customers.
• Establish product measures like adoption, time saved, and revenue.
