Job summary

ICF is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge technical teams and client business partners in a Federal contract setting. The role emphasizes translating requirements into clear user stories with strong acceptance criteria and leading Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities include creating roadmaps, collaborating with Product Owners, and aiding throughout the project lifecycle from discovery to delivery. U.S. citizenship and DHS Public Trust eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of business analysis translating requirements into specific, scoped user stories and creating documentation (process mapping, role matrices).
• Experience creating and maintaining documentation and process visuals for projects.
• Experience with ServiceNow Platform, ITSM/CSM and agile work environments.
• Eligibility to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance. Need US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing system documentation to summarize functionality related to the project.
• Create and maintain project roadmaps.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting by responding to inquiries.
• Utilize gherkin syntax for user story acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to define story scope and acceptance criteria.
• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies and cross-functional meetings.
• Communicate with stakeholders as a Business SME across dial-in, web conference, and MS Teams.
• Support all phases of the project lifecycle—from discovery through delivery.
• Create and peer-review functional specs, technical docs, and training materials.
