Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of our partner, is seeking a BI Developer/Reporting Developer in the United States for a fully remote role supporting Eastern Time hours. You will develop dashboards, reporting products, semantic models, and analytics to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to translate requirements, design data models, optimize SQL, and ensure governance and security across BI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of BI development experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, BO, Qlik, Looker).
• Advanced SQL skills and data modeling knowledge (star/snowflake).
• Experience with ETL, cloud analytics (AWS/Azure).
• Ability to translate requirements into dashboards and reporting specifications.
• Strong data governance, privacy, and security understanding.
• Excellent communication and storytelling for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data visualizations across platforms.
• Translate business questions into analytical workflows and insights.
• Design relational and dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas).
• Write and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for reporting.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Build automated reporting and self-service BI solutions.
• Validate data accuracy and BI workflow performance.
• Collaborate with users to configure and enhance dashboards and data solutions.
• Support data integration and ETL in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Apply governance, privacy, and compliance standards across BI assets.
• Document BI processes and reporting logic for transparency.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
