Job summary

Twoconnect is seeking an experienced FEA Process Engineer to lead Abaqus-based simulations and support product development across design validation, testing, and manufacturing needs. You will develop and improve FEA procedures, review models, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance performance and reliability.

The role requires 4+ years of FEA/CAE experience, strong knowledge of Abaqus, and the ability to coordinate analysis work with design, testing, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years' experience in finite element analysis, CAE engineering, mechanical design analysis.
• Strong hands-on experience using Abaqus or Abaqus/CAE for FEA modelling, simulation setup, analysis, result interpretation, and reporting.
• Experience with fatigue analysis, non-linear analysis, structural analysis, durability assessment, or product performance simulation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, material behaviour, load cases, boundary conditions, mesh quality, and simulation assumptions.
• Experience reviewing CAD and FEA models, identifying modelling issues, and improving analysis accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FEA activities using Abaqus to assess structural performance, fatigue, and product behaviour.
• Develop, maintain, and improve FEA procedures, templates, workflow standards, and reporting tools.
• Support non-linear, fatigue, and structural analysis across engineering projects.
• Review CAD and FEA model outputs including mesh quality and boundary conditions.
• Interpret simulation results and provide engineering recommendations for design decisions.
