Job summary

Productive Resources LLC is seeking an experienced FEA/CFD Engineer to join our remote engineering team. The role focuses on using FEA and CFD software to optimize designs, assess thermal management, and evaluate fluid dynamics across components and systems.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with major simulation tools, a solid mechanical engineering background, and strong analytical and communication skills to translate results into actionable design improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical/related engineering field required.
3–5+ years of FEA/CFD simulations experience in engineering contexts.
Proficiency with ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, Star-CCM+, CFX or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

Perform FEA simulations on complex mechanical/structural components using industry-standard software.
Perform CFD simulations to analyze fluid flow, heat transfer, and thermal management.
Interpret results to provide design and performance insights for product teams.
Collaborate with design engineers to optimize performance and manufacturability.
Validate models against experimental data and prepare technical reports.
Develop and refine simulation methodologies and meshing strategies.
Identify opportunities to improve FEA/CFD workflows and automation.
