Job summary

Welo Data is seeking Translation Validators to support a synthetic data generation program. You will independently review English source documents with two machine-generated Farsi translations, select the preferred variant, and provide a written justification.

You will also assess audio files and transcriptions for accuracy and quality in a blind, three-validator setup. This freelance, remote role offers flexible project-based opportunities with global collaboration and growth in AI data quality

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Farsi (written and spoken).
• Strong written communication skills in English.
• Background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review English source documents with two machine-generated Farsi translations (Variant A and B).
• Select the preferred translation and justify the choice in writing.
• Review audio files and transcriptions, evaluating accuracy and quality.
• Assess transcription and audio quality according to project guidelines.
• Complete samples independently within established timelines.
• Adhere strictly to project and client guidelines.
