Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County, Inc. is seeking a Family Services Specialist - Processor to advocate for families and manage eligibility for School Readiness, VPK, CSC Scholarship, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs.

The role reviews online applications, conducts screenings, and ensures timely processing while keeping sensitive information confidential. A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with strong customer service and office technology skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, Social Work, or related field is required.
• 2 years of eligibility determination, enrollment processes or CCR&R experience is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRMs and cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine childcare eligibility through online application review process.
• Provide Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) services.
• Advocate for families and determine family needs through interviews and complete digital paperwork to maintain eligibility, transfer providers, and terminate services.
• Support families in completing the child developmental screening process.
• Monitor processing queues to ensure applications, renewals and updates are completed within timelines.
• Respond to information requests from clients/providers within designated timeframes and confidentiality guidelines.
