LaRocque Law in Chicago is seeking a mid-level Family Law Litigation Attorney to manage a caseload of divorce, parental responsibilities, child support, and property division. The role blends remote/hybrid work with in-person court appearances in the Chicago area as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of litigation experience, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school and Illinois bar admission, strong writing and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a flexible firm

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Illinois bar admission.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, with family law preferred.
• Strong writing, negotiation, and client-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage a full caseload of family law matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other filings.
• Appear at hearings, mediations, settlements, and trials, in person when required.
• Conduct client consultations and maintain regular, responsive client communication.
• Negotiate settlements and develop case strategy in the client's best interest.
• Maintain accurate time records, case files, and deadlines in Clio.
