Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney for its California family law team in a fully remote capacity. You will handle divorce matters from filing to judgment, including property division, spousal support, and custody disputes, representing clients nationwide from a CA-focused practice.

The role requires a JD with active California Bar status, strong drafting and courtroom skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifikationen

• California family law knowledge, including divorce and asset division.
• Active California State Bar membership.
• Experience drafting petitions, disclosures, and settlements.
• Strong client communication and advocacy skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage divorce and dissolution matters from filing to judgment.
• Handle community property and asset division, including real estate and retirement accounts.
• Represent clients in spousal and child support and custody disputes.
• Draft petitions, disclosures, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Advocate in court, hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and develop case strategies.
• Conduct discovery and legal research on CA family law.
• Communicate with clients and guide them through the divorce process.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff for case management.
• Stay current with California family law developments.
