Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our California family law team in a fully remote role. You will handle divorce matters from filing through judgment, including complex property division and custody disputes, while collaborating with senior attorneys and maintaining high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Must have active California State Bar membership.
• Strong background in California family law, including divorce, property, and custody matters.
• Excellent client communication and ability to guide clients through emotional proceedings.
• Proven courtroom advocacy, negotiation, and mediation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of California divorce matters from filing to judgment.
• Handle asset division, spousal and child support issues, and complex custody disputes.
• Draft petitions, disclosures, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and collaborate with senior attorneys to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Conduct discovery and legal research on California family law topics.
• Maintain client communication and provide case updates throughout the process.
