Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our California family law team in a fully remote role, handling divorce matters from initial filing through judgment, including complex property division and custody disputes. This position requires a JD with active California Bar membership, strong drafting and advocacy skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with senior attorneys.

Qualifications

• JD with active California State Bar in good standing.
• Experience drafting disclosures, motions, and marital settlement agreements.
• Strong negotiation, mediation, and courtroom advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage divorce and dissolution matters from petition to final judgment.
• Handle complex property division including real estate, retirement accounts, business interests.
• Represent clients in spousal and child support disputes.
• Draft petitions, responses, financial disclosures, pleadings, motions, and settlements.
• Advocate for clients in hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Develop case strategies with senior attorneys and communicate updates to clients.
