Job summary

Better Together seeks a Family Connection Specialist to triage intakes, foster partnerships with state agencies and community partners, and analyze data for leadership reports. The role blends outreach, assessment, and coordination to help families access services.

Based in Florida with remote-friendly work, you will engage with DCF, hospitals, schools, and other partners, ensuring timely referrals and compassionate service delivery while upholding the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in social services, human services, healthcare, and/or child welfare.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Strong communication and coordination with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Triage intakes and risk assessments.
• Cultivate partnerships with DCF, law enforcement, hospitals, schools, and other community partners.
• Track and document intake information per organizational standards and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with regional teams to monitor case progress and follow-up tasks.
• Engage in family engagement and crisis intervention to support timely service delivery.
