Job summary

Stantec GS, Inc. seeks interdisciplinary Facility Assessors/Inspectors for a DoD-wide facility condition assessment program across the United States. The role requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical, shell, roofing, structural, and interior elements, with remote/hybrid work options.

The team will evaluate buildings and infrastructure at DoD installations, reporting to a Stantec office. Candidates should have building systems experience and be prepared to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated on-the-job experience or formal trade school education in building systems.
• 5 years of experience preferred.
• Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Master mechanic/technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory of client facilities classifying components per ASTM UNIFORMAT II.
• Assess facilities to determine physical condition and conformity with specs and codes.
• Experience with facility condition assessment software; training available for CMS tools.
• Document mechanical/electrical equipment with tablets and photos.
• Work under supervision and follow standard practices; climb ladders as needed.
