CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a remote US-based Medical Coder/Auditor to review inpatient and outpatient records for coding accuracy, ensure compliance with AHIMA guidelines, and support denials management. You will collaborate with coding teams, deliver timely reports, and contribute to revenue integrity.

Requirements include AHIMA or AAPC credentials, 2–3 years of experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office.

Formación

• Must hold AHIMA or AAPC coding credentials (RHIA/RHIT acceptable).
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient coding/auditing is preferred.
• Strong documentation and coding accuracy required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complex retrospective analysis of medical records for coding accuracy.
• Identify root causes of coding errors to prevent recurrence.
• Provide second-level review of diagnosis, procedure and billing codes.
• Respond to inquiries regarding compliance, denials and billable services.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient information and adhere to AHIMA guidelines.
