Job summary

Managed Resources, Inc. is seeking a Lead Facility Coder and Auditor to join our remote team. The role combines coding, auditing, leadership, project oversight and QA for inpatient and outpatient accounts, including ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, CPT, DRG and query reviews.

As a technical resource, you will mentor coders, conduct quality audits, ensure compliant documentation, and collaborate with clients to support accurate reimbursement and continuous improvement across healthcare programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience abstracting ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, CPT and DRG reviews.
• Current credentials CCS, RHIT or RHIA are required or strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and coding rules.

Responsibilities

• Abstract ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, CPT, DRG and query reviews from medical records.
• Evaluate documentation quality and provide feedback for improvement.
• Perform accurate coding and quality assurance reviews for team members.
• Communicate with clients and providers for clarification as needed.
