Job summary

Cognizant seeks a Facets Configuration Manager to lead end-to-end configuration delivery for healthcare payer implementations, platform transformations, product launches, regulatory initiatives, and migration programs.

You will collaborate with business, compliance, operations, technology, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure governance, quality, and successful outcomes while delivering executive reporting and metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years healthcare payer technology, implementation, configuration, or delivery experience.
• 5+ years leading Facets configuration teams, projects, or large-scale implementations.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare payer operations, claims administration, and product management across Commercial, Medicare, and/or Medicaid.
• Experience leading enterprise implementations, platform migrations, product launches, regulatory initiatives, or transformation programs.
• Proven success managing cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and stakeholder groups.
• Experience with project planning, estimation, governance, RAID management, release management, resource coordination, and executive reporting.
• Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration delivery across Facets functional areas (Membership, Group, Product & Benefits, Provider, Claims, Workflow, Billing, Customer Service, Accounting).
• Translate business, operational, contractual, and regulatory requirements into scalable configuration solutions.
• Establish and govern configuration standards, design controls, traceability, quality reviews, and approval frameworks.
• Manage configuration scope, timelines, estimates, dependencies, releases, and environment promotions.
• Oversee configuration, migration, testing, deployment, and production support for healthcare transformation initiatives.
• Drive solution reviews, impact assessments, risk mitigation, and release management activities.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and work allocation for onsite and offshore teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes.
• Deliver executive reporting, governance updates, delivery metrics, and recovery plans.
• Support production stabilization, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
