Job summary
US Bullnosing Inc. is a remote-friendly fabricator specializing in porcelain and stone pieces for pool coping, mosaics and edge detailing.
The Specialist will craft 2D/3D AutoCAD shop drawings from customer drawings and site data, producing precise waterjet cut files and assembly layouts for fabrication, while coordinating with our team to ensure timely quotes and designs. Qualifications
- 2+ years in fabrication design, waterjet/CNC programming or estimating.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D a plus) and DXF/DWG files.
- Degree in Engineering or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create and revise 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings for coping, step wraps, stair treads, mitered/waterfall edges and cutouts.
- Convert plans, field measurements, digital templating files (DXF) and sketches into dimensioned shop drawings.
- Lay out coping for radius and freeform pools: segment curves, set joint spacing and miter angles, number each piece.
- Model mitered and waterfall assemblies in 3D to verify fit, angles and visible faces before fabrication.
- Prepare clear approval drawings for customers and track revisions through final sign-off.
- Share the design workload with our in-house designer to keep drawing turnaround short.
