Job summary

US Bullnosing is seeking a Specialist in design and drafting to support our Oakland Park fabrication facility from a remote location. You will design and detail shop drawings, mosaics and waterjet cut files from customer drawings, measurements and photos, ensuring accurate estimates and timely quotes.

Responsibilities span 2D/3D AutoCAD, mosaics design, and production support. You will work ET hours, collaborate with our in-house designer, and help maintain an organized digital library of

Qualifications

• 2+ years in fabrication design, waterjet/CNC programming or estimating.
• Strong AutoCAD (2D) and DXF/DWG file exchanges.
• Understanding of porcelain, ceramic and stone behavior when cut.
• Ability to read plans and prepare takeoffs from drawings or digital files.
• Remote work ability with clear communication and deadlines.
• Work samples or portfolio of shop drawings or cut files.
• Ability to work Eastern Time (ET) business hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.
• Fluent in English.
• Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings for coping, step wraps, stair treads, mitered/waterfall edges and cutouts.
• Convert plans, field measurements, digital templating files (DXF) and sketches into dimensioned shop drawings.
• Lay out coping for radius and freeform pools: segment curves, set joint spacing and miter angles, number each piece.
• Model mitered and waterfall assemblies in 3D to verify fit, angles and visible faces before fabrication.
• Prepare clear approval drawings for customers and track revisions through final sign-off.
• Share the design workload with our in-house designer to keep drawing turnaround short.
• Produce production-ready waterjet cut files with clean geometry and toolpaths.
