Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Software Installer - Mid-Level to support the FAA TFDM program under the BNATCS contract. This role focuses on configuring, testing, and deploying TFDM software at FAA facilities, with emphasis on security, compliance, and operational readiness.

The position is 100% remote with substantial travel (75–100%) to FAA sites, requiring a valid driver’s license and ability to lift equipment as needed. A strong background in Redhat Linux, VMware, and TFDM software is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Redhat Linux knowledge including OS installation, file navigation, shell scripting (VI, GREP, SED, AWK) and Ansible Playbooks.
• Requires VMware knowledge: navigation and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75–100%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure TFDM software installations are accurately configured and tested across sites and labs.
• Create AIMS tickets for TFDM discrepancies and site/lab adaptations.
• Generate status reports for On-Site and Lab installations.
• Collaborate with teammates, site personnel, and vendors to resolve TFDM issues.
