Job summary

New York Life Investments is seeking a dynamic External Wholesaler to represent our investment solutions—including mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, and Alternatives—to financial advisors across the West Coast, CA, CO, AZ, WA, and OR regions. This individual will work with Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) channels, serving as a trusted resource and strategic partner to financial professionals in the region.

Qualifications

• Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of asset management sales experience or financial advisor experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow market share, asset growth and profitability.
• Represent NYL Investments’ products and services to financial advisors.
• Deliver technical product information and market insights with knowledge of capital markets.
• Collaborate with internal advisor consultants and sales teams to drive sales of mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, Alternatives and LPs.
• Manage travel budget and travel frequently—50% or more—to build and maintain advisor relationships.
