Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking an Exposure Management Engineer to support and scale our exposure management operations. This role focuses on day-to-day operation, optimization, and automation of security platforms including vulnerability management, CAASM, and CNAPP tools.

The engineer will work closely with senior security engineers and client teams to operationalize exposure management programs, manage platform findings, and improve remediation workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cybersecurity engineering.
• Exposure or risk-based vulnerability management experience.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management/CNAPP platforms (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz, Axonius).
• Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell) and API automation.
• Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, IAM, monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Interest in AI tools to improve security operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain security platforms (vulnerability management, CAASM, CNAPP).
• Prioritize findings, support remediation workflows, and create dashboards.
• Tune platforms, integrate with client environments, and onboard new assets.
• Automate reporting, vulnerability triage, and remediation tracking.
• Engage with clients in regular operational cadence meetings and provide updates.
