Job summary

Marshall Street Initiatives is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Marshall Leadership Institute, shaping its vision, program design, and growth strategy. You will collaborate with Summit Public Schools and partners to scale leadership development for educators, with a focus on outcomes, sustainability, and impact.

You will oversee program design, analytics, fundraising, and alignment with partners, while building a capable team and ensuring high-quality leadership development across

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in education or leadership.
• 4+ years experience as a teacher.
• 4+ years experience as an Executive Director and/or principal.
• Experience creating, leading, and/or scaling a new program or organization.
• Experience with strategic planning and project management.
• Consistent track record of setting and meeting ambitious outcomes.
• Experience influencing and managing others.
• Experience with program management and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with professional development and coaching of adults.
• Responsive, opportunistic and flexible.
• Proficiency in Google Platforms.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and direction for the Marshall Leadership Institute.
• Design programmatic elements, oversee curriculum development and learning experiences.
• Lead program evaluation and iterate on program design.
• Drive operational sustainability including sales, branding, partnerships and fundraising.
• Build and develop a diverse facilitation team.
• Foster collaboration among facilitators, school partners and stakeholders.
• Grow the Institute toward sustainability in partnership with leadership.
• Engage donors, partner schools, policymakers and other stakeholders.
• Develop scalable leader development materials and admissions/partnership systems.
• Meet annual fundraising and budget goals; ensure financial sustainability.
• Represent the Institute in educator preparation networks.
