Job summary

Summit Public Schools seeks an Executive Director to translate our mission into actionable school-wide strategy. You will lead instructional leadership, student outcomes, and campus operations with a focus on equity and anti-bias practice.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Master’s Degree in Education or related field is required.
Prior experience in school leadership is required.
A Teaching Credential in California or another US state is required; Administrative Credential is required.
Proficiency in Google Platforms (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides).

Responsibilities

Create a school-based vision aligned with mission and lead stakeholders.
Meet regularly with students, parents, and faculty to communicate mission and vision.
Provide instructional leadership and coaching to achieve student outcomes.
Oversee school operations, budget, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Foster anti-bias, anti-racist school culture with stakeholders.
Build relationships with governing bodies and community partners.
