Job summary

MCGARITY CONSULTING GROUP is seeking an experienced Executive Coach to support a leadership-development engagement for City Streets and Sanitation department supervisors and emerging leaders. Qualifications

• Experience providing one-on-one leadership or executive coaching.
• Experience coaching supervisors, managers, emerging leaders, or high-potential employees.
• Strong knowledge of leadership development, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, accountability, and behavioral change.
• Ability to establish trust and coach individuals from varied professional, educational, and personal backgrounds.
• Experience developing actionable individual-development plans.
• Excellent listening, questioning, facilitation, and feedback skills.
• Ability to deliver coaching effectively in a virtual environment.
• Strong professional judgment and commitment to confidentiality.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary consulting team while maintaining the integrity of the coaching relationship.
• Availability during the anticipated contract period and flexibility to accommodate participant schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide confidential, one-on-one coaching through a secure virtual platform.
• Conduct an initial coaching intake and establish development objectives with each participant.
• Help participants create practical leadership-development plans aligned with their roles and career goals.
• Coach participants in Leadership presence and self-awareness, Communication and interpersonal effectiveness, Conflict management, Decision-making and accountability, Team leadership and employee engagement, Inclusive leadership, Data-informed management, Organizational communication, Readiness for increased responsibility, Succession and career-development planning, Interpret and debrief 360-degree assessment results when applicable.
