Job summary

Centroid Systems is seeking an experienced Oracle Engineered Systems/DBA consultant to manage critical database environments based on Oracle Exadata. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Database 19c and a robust understanding of Exadata and engineered systems.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in database administration, lead patch cycles, and ensure compliance with regulations. This position is 100% remote.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Strong expertise with Oracle Exadata and Engineered Systems.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Database 19c / 23ai.
• Hands-on experience with RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Oracle Exadata Database Machines and engineered systems infrastructure.
• Lead quarterly Exadata patch cycles across various layers.
• Execute patching strategies to minimize downtime.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
